J & S Scapes are proud to have been awarded an award in the National Landscaping awards catergory project value £60-£100k.
J & S Scapes Ltd were asked to create a new courtyard with decorative walls, paving, new stream, cottage garden and Breedon gravel driveway that had the feeling of it always being part of the original house. The courtyard needed to be welcoming not imposing, it needed to have intrigue with features and mature planting to soften the edges of the hard landscaping. The client had many sculptures that needed to be incorporated into the design.
Judges comments: ” An interesting court yard feature linking area between drive, house and rear garden. Challenging falls requiring a good drainage to drive system. Intricate brick panels with roman mosaic inserts. Paving neat and well executed throughout.”
