Buckinghamshire Walled Garden
This build project for Robert Myers Associates was focussed on high quality materials and a precise finish to create a blend of the old and the new. Sawn stone sits beside brick paving and box-head trees are underplanted with bold herbaceous perennials creating a timeless space.

Smart cedar posts at a project in Owlswick we’re currently working on. These posts create zoned areas without completely obscuring the view and look modern yet very comfortable in the countryside setting. Some progress shots of an interesting build we did for @editlandscapedesign . Rainwater is collected to top up 2 ponds, with an overflow that goes to a soak away. Pictures show the plants being set out and planted up. The last stage of the Design Process is doing the planting. The agreed plants will be ordered and delivered to your garden where they be ‘set out’ by a designer. All the plants will be planted by our team except some larger trees which may be planted by the specialist tree nursery. The final APL Award finalist we want to share with you is Westlington, designed by @joannaarchergardendesign and built by us. Local stone was used for the walls to blend beautifully with the house. The access to this site was particularly challenging with it being a walled garden- the only access was through the house. A bit of a departure from the norm as the Aftercare team help to prepare The Russell Arms pub for re-opening. Seasonal hanging baskets, troughs and perennials to the rear. A nice mix of Alliums, Geranium `Rozanne, Hakonechloa, Alchemilla and Salvia `Nachvlinder` will greet the patrons in the garden......once the sun arrives. As `sneek previews` go, all I can say is that you like your landlords to put heart and soul into the pub....then I can vouch for that. If you like gorgeous wallpaper in the gents urinals....then that gets a `tick as well`.Things have moved on a pace and we are looking forward to visiting the finished article for food, beer and wine. Good luck to @daddymaycooks and @themrsmay with the new venture.
