Mursley – Simple and Elegant
This project required a simple design to create a garden which is practical and could be easily maintained. From a sloping site, with a poor lawn we created an elegant garden with raised beds and a gravel terrace. A small patio by the house enabled outdoor dining and the planting scheme delivered on our clients’ desire for colour.

Setting out plants in the sunshine ☀️ It’s always an exciting day when plants arrive, like they have today for a project near Chinnor. Some of the current stars of the show are the Hydrangea paniculata ‘Linelight’, Hakonechloa macra grasses and Aster x frickartii ‘Monch’. A beautiful architect owned and designed house needed a similarly beautiful garden which has been designed by @rory_andrews_landscape_design and is being built by us @jandsscapes . Dijon Limestone from @mandarinstoneofficial is being laid and carbon @brickworksvandemoortel pavers from @countrysuppliesuk . We have also sown lots of wildflowers seeds from @meadowmania.co.uk ready to pop up next year. It has been a busy week.
The first image is of a garden that we finished in the Spring. We popped back today to add some bulbs and we were pleased to see it thriving.
Then on to Tring as the trees arrived for this project (thank you @majestictrees1 ) in the grounds of a lovely Georgian home. A new garden room has recently been built and requires some screening and planting to soften.
Spin around and pop to Weston Turville to see progress at a lovely little new build property.
