Our landscaping teams are skilled, have an eye for detail and take pride in their work. Our reputation is such that we are often approached by other garden designers to build their creations. One such project was to deliver a build for Robert Myers Associates and their development of a large walled garden in Buckinghamshire.
This beautifully-finished garden won J&S Scapes a 2014 BALI National Landscape Award and Robert Myers Associates have now had the project shortlisted for a 2019 Society of Garden Designer’s Award. The winners will be announced on 1st February 2019.
The design simplified and created a more appropriate setting for the Grade 1-listed Queen Anne House. New areas of garden were developed around the proposed swimming pool; and a re-worked kitchen garden and greenhouse were created within the walled garden to better suit the needs of the client.
Quality materials requiring an exceptional finish were used in what was a challenging but fulfilling project covering an area over almost 4,000m/s. We are proud of the outcome and BALI award and wish Robert Myers Associates the best of luck at the SGD Award ceremony.
