Portfolio

We pride ourselves on the gardens we create and take great satisfaction in providing our clients with gardens that they love. Our portfolio is testament to our design and build expertise.

Amersham

Anchoring the house

This new award winning house boasts impressive brickwork, a spacious ground floor enclosed in glazing and charred timber cladding. Despite its modern design, the client wanted the house to blend seamlessly into the landscape, featuring traditional garden elements like a lawn, greenhouse, vegetable plot, patio, driveway, and perennial borders.

Chenies

Forging a garden.

This project required a plan for three separate properties which are all used by the same family with a requirement that all three work in harmony but can also be easily segregated at a future time.

The client was keen to have a large entertainment space running ‘flush’ from the property, a screen between home and car parking, terracing to deal with the slope and a desire to re-use materials and create a space befitting the forge’s original use.

Chalfont St. Giles

Something for everyone.

This large garden, whilst benefitting from a range of mature shrubs, had become a little tired and in need of a transformation.

The use of space would enable the client to spend more time in the garden; relaxing, entertaining and nurturing the plants. The children particularly wanted an area where they could sit with friends, away from the ‘oldies’.

Amersham

Entertaining on different levels.

This project required us to link a recent extension to a newly constructed indoor pool, gym and spa room.
The design needed to include space for al-fresco dining, an outdoor fire and seating, as well as space for lounging. The garden was to be seen as a further extension of the house, utilising the same materials and aesthetic and high level finish.

Wendover

A little hidden gem.

Our client had recently moved from a mature garden to a blank canvas overlooked by neighbours.

The brief outlined the need for a space which was ‘neat and tidy’ but also with some character and points of interest.

Aylesbury Vale

A garden with a view.

This exciting project sits upon a hillside with panoramic views across the Chilterns. The architect designed property sits upon a prime plot but this presented a number of challenges. The front garden had limited access due to a number or mature trees and the rear garden had a steep slope and exposed to the elements.

Weedon

A summer terrace to soak in the views.

This beautiful Georgian property enjoys stunning views of the Chiltern Hills. An oak framed pool house sits at the highest point and our brief was to create a terrace and entertainment space to make the most of the setting.

The design, materials, finish and planting were all to fit with the period of the property, to provide a seamless blend with the extensive grounds.

Wingrave

Restoring Georgian grandeur.

This project required us to deliver a garden befitting of this stately Georgian property. The house and grounds had fallen into disrepair and the new owners had embarked on a sympathetic restoration project.

The garden works with the symmetry of the Georgian architecture, sits elegantly with the walled boundary and uses materials that affirm the character of this heritage property.

Berkhamsted

Creating outdoor rooms.

A large property justifies a large patio but in this case the paved areas felt uninspired and vast.

The design focussed on segregating the patio to create a purpose for each space, be it dining, relaxing, planting or simply for movement between the spaces.

The quality of the landscaping hadn’t matched that of the house but our team of talented landscapers produced a garden with a high quality finish.
